A new Damnation developer diary and screenshots show off the steampunk platforming shooter's acrobatic movement and offer a teasing glimpse at its co-op multiplayer.

Damnation began life as an Unreal Tournament 2004 mod, which placed second in Epic Games' 2004 Make Something Unreal contest. And has a jet trike, see?

Developed by Blue Omega Entertainment and published by Codemasters, Damnation is due to flic-flac somersault its way onto PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 22.

most of these idiots on this site are all negative. it's funny to read all their replies about all they hate. it makes me wonder why the are here and exactly what games they like since they put down EVERYTHING. BTW this game was released in 2005 as a tc for ut2004. I played it. they obviously changed things but a lot looks similar which is probably why it looks "hideous" to some of the noobs here.

you motherfuckers are a tough sell, this doesn't look that bad at all. The only thing that bothers me is it seems like a weak attempt to do steampunk in the "mainstream" like Bioshock, but I don't think its quite there.
