A new Damnation developer diary and screenshots show off the steampunk platforming shooter's acrobatic movement and offer a teasing glimpse at its co-op multiplayer.

Damnation began life as an Unreal Tournament 2004 mod, which placed second in Epic Games' 2004 Make Something Unreal contest. And has a jet trike, see?

Developed by Blue Omega Entertainment and published by Codemasters, Damnation is due to flic-flac somersault its way onto PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 22.

I had never watched any videos of this. It looks terrible. Everything looks so stiff and lifeless. Should have stayed a mod.

Same thing over here. The animation is stiff yet they brag how they're trying to make the movement real life-like and you can easily tell that it's another UE3-based game, its getting boring
