      Yeah. I was *this* close to going to CA, but then I did some math and realized I will make 29% LESS just by existing in that state, and that DOES NOT include cost-of-living adjustments... so basically if I wanted to go to CA, I'd have to cut my spending power completely in half. And that state is fucking bankrupt right now.
      
      That left me with Austin, which I already know fairly well, and like a lot (and my two best friends have lived there for years as it is).
      
      Doesn't mean I'm not going to bitch about it though. This is the internets, after all.
