Terminator Salvation Trailer Delivers Action
by Chris Faylor, Apr 20, 2009 2:40pm PDTMake no mistake, GRIN's video game take on the events that lead up to the Terminator Salvation film is action-packed. And to make sure you really know this, publisher Warner Bros. has released the appropriately titled "Action Attack Montage," viewable below.
The game hits PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 19, two days before the film.

I mean wtf...yes, the game looks great. I absolutely am OK with the cover system style, you would expect that from having to fight precision machines that have auto-aim, literally.
So...why are they missing so much? Every time they fire a round, it should be hitting something or be for a purpose, not just "trying" to hit a human. It should be hitting a human or keeping them suppressed so another machine can kill them or capture them, etc.
I do not like this new trend.

Run 50 feet, get behind cover... repeat.
I hope I'm wrong and that they break it up with some well thought out level design, but I'm not seeing it in the trailer... and no I don't count sections where you're shooting from a turret on a prescripted path vehicle.
The not-cynic in me says "Gears of War was fun"
oh I guess this is what happens when a good developer makes a licensed game
