Benchpress: barbell vs dumbells

What do you prefer and why?

My right side is much stronger than left so I feel I use it more when using a barbell so I prefer using dumbells. That forces me to so equal work on both sides without cheating.

  dumbells stress ancillaries and promote general/balanced strength, but the bar stability will help you lift more weight than you probably "should" to promote raw strength.
