Sucker Punch Celebrates inFamous Going Gold

10
The announcement that Sucker Punch's super-powered open world sucker-puncher has gone gold was made, like so many others in this 2.0 age, through Twitter.

Now producer Brian Flemming has revealed how Sucker Punch will be celebrating the end of over three years of development and 70,000+ checkins of code and assets:

It's a tradition here to bust out old builds and videos of the game and laugh at ourselves for how *crappy* the game was 2 years ago. It's a strange combination of humiliation at how we ever showed those builds to people, appreciation to Sony for believing in us even when the game was so provably terrible, and sense of accomplishment at how far we were able to come, especially in the last 6-12 months. Plus it's just plain hilarious to see some of our really BAD ideas on-screen.

Published by Sony, inFamous zaps onto the PlayStation 3 on May 26, with a demo out on the PlayStation Network May 21. International release dates have yet to be announced

Good luck to them, Sucker Punch needs a hit.

Still a bit generic-looking, but at least you don't pull gruesome mass murders like in Prototype. Why they even put dialogue in that thing is beyond me. Who's gonna talk calm & sensibly to a freak mass killa face to face? Even if you're "innocent" you're guilty!

Sly Cooper did pretty well last gen, right? I loved those games. Really hope this is the same quality as the sly games.
