      Most brilliant coop game at the time really.

        funny, I watched the video, but I remember one of the tactics being to put a load of enemies into bubbles then burst them all at once for a huge bonus. Didn't the NES version have that?

          Yes, it did. But as I remember it has to be 3+ enemies to start a combo

      I still play Bubble Bobble with the same friend I played it with when I was 5. I absolutely love that game.

      Also, another thing in that video I noticed.. the third song it plays never shows up in any version of Bubble Bobble but the arcade version. It's the music to secret rooms that become available if you get to levels 20, 40, and 50 without dying.
