Dragon Age Mage Trailer Snaps, Crackles

BioWare's Dragon Age is billed as a good old-fashioned RPG, and what would an RPG be without its mage class? Take a look at the wizard and its flashy effects--including one that seems right out of Mortal Kombat--in the video below.

Dragon Age: Origins hits stores this fall on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Look at all that foom! Neat video.

I wonder when we're going to see a little more of the actual game system in one of these videos. I figure that's the skirt that will be peeked up last, but it is relevant to my interests and I'd subscribe to its newsletter.

Growing your character and party, combat options, loot concepts, stuff like that.

I'm sure all will be revealed in due time.

Usually "mages" are ranged DPSers with particle effects, but did you see those guys getting vaporized? nice. wow this is fucking cool.
