By now it's common knowledge that Red Faction: Guerrilla lets you 'splode things real good, but did you know you can spread chaos in jetpacking mechanised walkers?

A second trailer shows dismantling the cruel and oppressive Earth Defense Force with the electrifying Arc Welder and blade-flinging Grinder, whose industrial use is a mystery.

Developed by Volition and published by THQ, Red Faction: Guerrilla brings its delightfully destructive repurposed arsenal to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on June 9.

I'll be keeping a close eye on this one. It could be awesome, or just be a huge gimmick. In any case, it's great to see games doing new stuff. They haven't mentioned a cover system even once - good sign.

This looks perilously close to being VERY damn fun. Hopefully the PC version is really well put togehter and not just a sloppy port like many these days.

You know this looks cool and all, and I might buy this because I like to play with physics. But it does look like it's just an advanced physics simulation with futuristic buildings to bring down. Meh, reviews first than buy it or not.
