Stalin vs. Martians Screenshots: Go Giant Stalin Go!

6
Earlier word of an April 20th release date for Stalin vs. Martians (PC) is now accompanied by a fresh batch of screenshots from the bizarre strategy game.

"What shocks the most is that the martian forces look like a gay parade of Nintendo-styled cartoonish creatures," said publisher Mezmer Games earlier this year.

Developed by three entirely separate studios (BWF, Dreamlore and N-Game) and packing "incredible Russian soundtrack and wild music-video intermissions," the unbelievable title will soon be available through "all major digital games retailers."

The guy who commented on stolen IP under the very first news post was right, those green things really do look *too much* like the rubber alien dolls from Toy Story. If I were Disney I'd sue the life out of these people until they change some of those designs.

Also, I don't see shadows under troops. They can't be serious about that in this day and age.

Really? These look a totally different color of green to me:

If that's "totally different" for you, then your eyes are either damaged or missing altogether. It's nearly a straight copy except the antenna and the space suit.

You have to be a huge ass to put something like that in a game, unless of course you've asked Disney and/or are paying royalties to them. Then again, that would be stupid and it's usually cheaper to just come up with something on your own.

Pixar is serious business, there's no time for petty sarcasm, citizen.

          HAHAHAHA, you funny, man.

I would say it's more Mike Wazowski with three eyes than the aliens. And no, Disney is not going to get all hot and bothered over this. Why would they want to give more credence to this genre-shattering piece of gaming brilliance?
