Prototype Gets Solid Release Date

13
Radical Entertainment's open-world action game Prototype will ship to European shops on June 5 and North American stores on June 9, publisher Activision announced today. Coming from the same studio as the surprisingly awesome Hulk open-world title Ultimate Destruction, Prototype puts PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 gamers in control of Alex Mercer, a shape-shifter with no memory, as New York is invaded by the "Infected."

For a better look at the game and the options that players are afforded, such as running on buildings or shape-shifting into an enemy soldier and telling the troops that that comrade right there is actually the target, check out the various trailers and clips.

^ This. Am still not impressed that I'm having to wait almost a full month over the US release to get my hands on Dark Athena. And from reading comments around these parts on US retailers it seems a lot of you guys got your hands on the game EARLY.
