I really love the concept of outer space, whether it be exploration or ship combat or diplomacy or whatever. I remember playing Tie Fighter as a kid and thinking it was the most awesome thing ever, but I can't recall any details any more. So, what is your favorite spaceship-based game? What are your favorite memories of playing games set in outer space? And/or, what do you want to see in a new game involving spaceships? (Aside from hot interspecies alien sex, I figure that's a default so let's knock it off the list.)

List your favorite apps.
Mine: shazam , barcode scanner , fbook, flycast (streaming radio) , wikimobile , AK Notepad, CommBattle Lite (kick ass game that uses GPS , you hunt down robots and kill them!) , craigsphone, Draw , Orientteer , Ringdroid , PhoneFlix (netflix manager) , ShopSavy (another barcode program) , Wertago (its a cool app but i haven't used it much , its for finding 'cool' places to go... ??)
Also, im looking for an app that tells me which app is accessing the GPS, GPS icon keeps popping up and its killing my battery now. I installed more than a few GPS apps one night and more than a few are nifty so I'd like to keep most of them - but whichever one is hitting the GPS constantly has to go!

Tonight we had our weekly Tuesday mining op. We had up to 20 participants and while we don't have numbers yet, it seemed pretty damn successful. Early on we had a can flipper show up and he was disposed of quite quickly. We all hung out in the AVADA POS to rid ourselves of aggro when he showed up in his Oynx to wreak havoc. After hanging out for an hour talking with MisterPhoton about how he was impressed we weren't a bunch of carebears, he took off and left us to our business.
Good times were had and I can safely say now that we have a good base and a growing member source. At last count we had 72 members, of which over half are active on a day to day basis and the rest are fairly active on a weekly basis. Lots of miners, budding industrialists, and a few of us who are willing to step up and throw down when the time comes (HOLLA AT ME, PEW PEW!). Hopefully in the next day or two Photon will have our mining numbers, but I'm expecting a 100 million+ ISK night! Good job PHOTONITES!

I just played it and finished it yesterday. I liked it alot with the only exception being that somehow they went from very satisfying weapon sounds in the original to empty sounding ones in this one.
I really loved some of the use of graphics and how many things were presented. Looked really polished. They effect they used for the Wraiths was really cool (though I guess they were probably the most annoying enemy).
Oh, I found that the shotgun was useless, the laser disappointing and the plasma gun not as fun as it probably could've been. The sniper rifle was fairly good though.
