If sales of SOF are pretty good, then maybe Raven will stick around enough(i.e. stay in business) to finish Star Trek: Elite Force. I'm hoping for this much.

You fools. Of course sales matter. Good games tend to sell well, sales matter to a point. If one game sells 1.5 million copies, and another sells 250,000, the chances are good that the 1.5 million seller was a better game. This of course is excluding value-priced or wide-appeal games like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and Deer Hunter. But, let's face it, a lot of people liked Myst, when it first came out there was really nothing like it. We can look back now and say it sucked but that's just 20/20 hindsight.

Quake3 and UT are both good. They have both sold well. Shogo and Blood2 were complete loads of bullshit. They sold poorly.

There is a correllation between game quality and sales. This is not the music industry where some company can force poor quality down our throats.

I wish my CD-ROM will open and start shooting out 20's...

Personally I'm waiting for Homeworld Cataclysm and Starlancer. Both look pretty darn awesome.

WTF is Who wants to be a 'Millionare' still in the top 5? I guess people think when they win the game, CD-ROM will open and start shooting out 20's or something (Just not for coffee holders anymore!) Either way, Age of Empires 2 kicks a$$. I finally broke the wrap on the box and having stopped playing since.

seriously though, roller coaster tycoon is great. i'm a fps fan through and through, but i just love building those cute little coasters. highly recommended.

as for another nfs opinion: i've heard from a friend at work that the new nfs is sweet. however, i refuse to buy a racing game until i drop a dime or two on a quality wheel. none of that steer-with-keyboard crap for me. i just can't seem to make myself fork over the dough for a wheel when the latest fps is right there on the shelf looking straight at me. oh well, i'll wait for my next raise.

Yeah, it's good to see Raven making some cash. Their games have always been underrated in the past.

IGN didn't seem to like the new Need for Speed very much. I wonder why?

#4: nope, it's just that most of our game purchasers are not game fanatics. Do you really think that anyone stays on top of the trade, or even really likes games would buy Who Wants To Be A Llama, err.. Millionare?

Not bad. Out of the top 20, only 5 are "games-lite." Rest are respectable. Althought I would could it as for because I just get so much enjoyment out of Lego Island. :)

geez you americans is cheap, about 3 of them are full priced, everyhting else is budget...
