Prince Fielder, son of baseball great Cecil Fielder, has been named the cover athlete for The Bigs 2, and 2K has marked the occasion by releasing a bit of footage from the extreme sports title.

The Bigs 2 is scheduled for release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Wii and PSP this summer.

Baseball "great" Cecil Fielder? Really?

Also Prince is a good-great player in his own right, don't make him stand in the shadow of a man he despises.

  I grew up in Detroit. Fielder was one of the few players I even knew of during that miserable era of Tigers lethargy. That makes him great, in a sense.

    I always liked Alan Trammel... I think that's how you spell it. The Brewers always seemed to be playing the Tigers whenever I went to a game back in the day.
