See The Albion of Tomorrow in Next Fable 2 DLC
by Alice O'Connor, Apr 06, 2009 7:30am PDTFresh information from Lionhead Studios today gives an outline of what to expect from See the Future, the next batch of Fable II downloadable content.
See the Future once again charges players with saving Albion or leading it to ruin, whichever tickles your fancy. Emerge victorious and you'll receive a vision of Albion's future and the mixed blessings which no doubt await the heroic bloodline.
See the Future will see you lifting curses from items your old chum Margo has got his hands on and solving a smattering of new quests, including:
The Ghosts of the Snowglobe Quest: Holding a disturbing secret, the small model village inside it was once a real town in Albion. The people who once inhabited it are now ghosts condemned to endless torment until the shadowy threat that cursed them is defeated.
The Cursed Knight Quest: Forever banished to a land beyond the dead, the Cursed Knight awaits a hero who has the strength and will to dress up in convincing costumes, even imitating a hobbe or balverine, to save him from his fate.
The Colosseum: The Colosseum puts even the Crucible to shame. Only the greatest heroes have triumphed here. Players' abilities will be put to the test to prove themselves in combat once and for all, to win the ultimate in prizes.
Fable II also receives a a whole saddlebag of new items in See the Future, including new clothing, new hairstyles and apparently "psycho Jester make-up". Proving the maxim wrong, you can teach your old dog new tricks--a back flip--and change its breed.
See the Future arrives on Xbox LIVE Marketplace in May for 560 MS Points ($7).
