Weekend Discussion

In my opinion, there is something fundamentally wrong if you kick off the weekend by waking up far, far earlier than you normally would on a regular old work day. Even if you have a good reason--say, because you're picking someone up from the airport.

On the plus side, I recently received some samples of the Mana Health and Mana Energy drinks--"energy for gamers"--that should help me get through the drive. I'm actually drinking the blue one, energy, as I type this. It's, well, it's an energy drink in a novelty vial. Certainly tastes better than many of the other drinks out there, at the least.

Oh, and if you have a Nintendo DS and you like Mega Man X (or Zero) and Puzzle League (or Tetris Attack or Panel de Pon) and you haven't played Henry Hatsworth, then I just want you to know that you've made me really sad. Hatsworth is good. You should try it!

I need to restart that. I never finished it, and I even perservered through game-stopping bugs that had me editing save files.

I never ran into any problems with it, but I might have gotten lucky. Did those unofficial patches help it any?

Lucky? More like miracle. It's amazingly buggy, it's simply unfinished. The fan patches make it tolerable.

The very first time I played it, I spawned without fists. That kinda makes things impossible.

One of the main reasons I'm playing through it is because I've heard how awesome the second playthrough as them is supposed to be. Can't wait.

And stealth kills are so fantastically brutal with some of the later weapons. I always laugh when I sledgehammer or brush hook a guy and the body goes flying into his friend standing right next to him, who doesn't even notice.

I really tried to like that game, and played it when it was fixed by the fans (or whatever), but I just couldn't get into it.

How far did you get? I never made it out of the tutorial until last weekend and then I got completely hooked.

how is that game?? i always heard about it but never picked it up?? i'm pretty sure it's like 10 bucks now too. i recently just picked up Splinter Cell Chaos Theory(i can't get passed the stupid mission with the flying korean drones),Brothers In Arms Hells Highway,Tomb Raider Anniversary(5 dollar sale on steam),Prince Of Persia Two Thrones(haven't even launched it yet, heard good things about the story),and Merchants Of Brooklyn. M.O.B. looks nice cause it uses the Cryengine but it crashes all the time...can't beat the 10 dollar price tag though..nice little arcade game on steam.

btw...SOMEONE TELL ME A DAMN CHEAT CODE OR SOMETHING FOR THAT SPLINTER CELL MISSION lol...it's killin me already..2 hours on 1 mission

Nabbed it from Steam for ~$7something back in 2007. Starts off a bit slow as you go through the tutorial, but once you get to really start roaming the city, it turns fucking jawesome.

I love that game. I probably should try it as Nosferatu sometime, but it seems like it would be incredibly boring.

Also, the Chinese lady-vampire boss is retarded hard; orders of magnitude harder than anything else in the game.

It was pretty good, but the first one (Redemption) was way better IMO. Better storyline, memorable characters, didn't crash every 30 seconds, etc.

Redemption was awesome but I had one major problem with it; the middle of it.
