Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack Sells 1 Million
by Chris Faylor, Mar 31, 2009 1:05pm PDTTeryarch's first downloadable map pack for Call of Duty: World at War sold over one million downloads during its first week on consoles, publisher Activision has revealed.
The $10 download hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 19, tempting players with four new multiplayer maps, including one dedicated to the popular Nazi Zombies mode. Details on a PC release are said to be "coming soon."
In comparison, Infinity Ward's only map pack for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare took nine days to break a million. However, that pack saw a staggered release--Xbox 360 first, PS3 two weeks later--while the WaW maps hit both consoles simultaneously.

This DLC is way better than the 3 measly maps IW put out for CoD4.
