Final Update: Our supply of codes has been exhausted. Thanks again everyone!

Update: Over one thousand entries later, our random number generator has picked the final batch of Snowblind Pack winners: pancake humper, DionB250, hellpaddy, Visceral Monkey, Pearce94. Winners, check your Shackmesages for your code.

Thanks to everyone that entered--seriously, over a thousand entries is amazing--and major, major kudos to the team at GearsofWar.com for making this possible.

We still have some golden weapon codes left, so watch Twitter--our stash runs out Friday evening. Keep an eye out for more Shacknews contests in the future.

Surprise Update: Due to the overwhelming response, we're proud to re-open the contest, as we now have another five Snowblind Map Packs to give away.

As before, just leave a comment to enter. And if you posted before, don't worry, you're already in the running. We'll pick the second batch of random winners Thursday night.

Remember, we're handing out golden Gears of War 2 weapons on Twitter all week. Kudos once again to the fine staff at GearsofWar.com for setting us up.

Update: And the purely random winners of the Snowblind Map Pack are kungfusquirrel, VaultThirteen, danysuri, Crimsonbeak, madzar, and lunaticbunny. Winners, you'll find the code sitting in your Shackmessages, just waiting for you to test them out online.

Don't forget, we'll be giving away golden weapon codes on Twitter all week. Thanks again to the generous Gears of War community team for helping set this up, and be sure you're on the look out for more of our contests and giveaways in the near future.

Original: Epic today released a new Gears of War 2 map pack, bringing four additional multiplayer arenas to the Xbox 360 action game for $10.

And thanks to the fine folks over at GearsofWar.com, we've got six free download codes to give away. All you've got to do to enter is respond in the comments. Since we know you're eager to get your frag on, we'll select the six random winners later today.

But that's not all. We'll also be handing out tokens for Golden Hammerburst and Golden Lancer weapons all week through the Shacknews Twitter, so keep an eye out.
