New Final Fantasy 13 Screenshots Released

Square Enix has released another batch of Final Fantasy XIII screens into the wild. They've been tagged and are ready for your scientific observation.

The PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIII should hit Japan this year, while Europe and North America will get the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions no earlier than April of next year.

Speaking of FF Im playing through FF4 on the DS and I have to say its a damn good JRPG. Better than X and X-2 which were the last ones I played.

I'm glad this got an announced 360 release, not because I'm interested in buying it for my 360, but because thank god it cut down on the people whining about FF just because it was only on the PS3.

Looks awesome but the men could use a lot less makeup and hair product. If I were in that FF universe I wouldn't feel confident knowing the fate of the world rests in the hands of some dude who would rather get a facial then deal with bad guys.

I have to say, im so beyond tired of the delayed releases for everyone but Japan from these guys. Isnt it time they got past that crap and started targeting global launches? No sure if were talking it comes out in December for them and January for the rest, fine screw it. But if it turns out to be like six months later then screw them. If however its possbile to just buy the import and play it with english subs that would be totally fine, english voices are usually crap anyways.

Can't wait, but these are shitty shots...they're just from the promo trailer release a while back, and at a smaller resolution.

Japanese demo in a few weeks though, so that'll be exciting.

By the time this comes out, we'll probably start seing the next gen consoles. Still, this game would be fun like crazy to play. I love all the Final Fantasy games, never played 10-2 11 or 12 though unfortunately :(
