Battlefield 1943 Screenshots: Old Map, New Look
by Chris Faylor, Mar 30, 2009 10:37am PDTEnsuring that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 doesn't get all of the attention today, EA has released a few new screenshots from DICE's other major Battlefield effort, 1943.
The download-only game brings 24-person multiplayer and three classic maps--Wake Island, Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima--to PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this summer.

They reported unlimited ammo but did not report that grenades and mines don't have unlimited ammo. I think that has been cleared up now.
Also, I heard that you could not drive the carriers or battleships anymore? Can anyone confirm/deny this? Seems stupid to remove, especially if planes can strafe you all day long and you are dead in the water.
I think this will be great, and would hate to see people write it off early because of false rumors.

If you're such 'fans' of this game, why not buy it and give it a chance before jumping all of this like you know what the fuck you're on about.
"THIS GAME SUCKS! It's for the CASUAL GAMER!" Oh boohoo, they simplified things. I love BF, been playing sine 1942. And being able to jump in and not worry about certain things, thus streamlining my experience, is something I can't wait for.
