Max Payne 1 & 2 Potentially Headed to Xbox 360
by Alice O'Connor, Mar 30, 2009 8:37am PDTListings on the ESRB website suggest Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne are headed to the Xbox 360, Joystiq has spotted.
This points to likely releases as downloable Xbox Originals, especially considering Remedy Entertainment's explodalicious noir-tinged third-person shooters are playable on the 360 through backwards compatibility--a prerequisite for an Originals release.
Publisher Rockstar recently announced Max Payne 3, under development for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at its Rockstar Vancouver studio.
Max Payne 1 & 2 will presumably be released for players to grimace and croak their favourite overwrought lines some time before Max Payne 3 arrives this winter.
