Early Mass Effect 2 Footage Leaked

Several minutes of Mass Effect 2 work-in-progress footage shown at GDC have already leaked onto the internet.

The footage includes an early look at some of Mass Effect 2's level design, as well as one short scene of dialogue.

We'll have more on the game in the next few days, including a chat with BioWare chiefs Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk. For now, check out the video below.

I can't stand Gears of War, but it's certainly had an impact on games in general. I see so many of them doing the whole over the shoulder duck and cover thing.

Anyway, I never played Mass Effect but I wish I could. Could someone maybies..give me a brand new PC or a 350 please? maybies?? *puppy eyes*

I waited until Mass Effect came on the PC and absolutely adored the game. I was really sad when it was over with. Granted, I thought the last 5% of the game was awful and a cop out but it was made up for by the rest of the game being awesome.

Mass Effect is how all RPG's should be, you should really want to keep playing to see what happens.

One of the greatest moments was when you are first given control of the ship and you give your morale boosting speech. I loved the feeling and as the music swelled and your crew started to become closer to you - that was an epic cinematic experience.

i am so fucking sick of science fiction games.

please developers, make modern games, that take place in my life time. i sick of this shit, gears of war, halo, metallo-plastic generic bland environments. i want more games like bf2, gta4, call of cthulhu dark corners of the earth (that came out of nowhere didn't it?), alan wake, max payne, etcetera. fuck space marines (but respects to bioware good game makers)
