Batman Arkham Asylum Trailer Offers Gameplay

Good news, everyone! The latest trailer for Batman: Arkham Asylum isn't one of those fancy cinematic affairs we've seen before--it's chock full of actual gameplay footage.

Rocksteady's interactive examination of the caped crusader's detective and crime-fighting combat prowess arrives on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this summer.

Well it's not the "campaign" so I suppose every challenge room CAN be "different every time!"

If this is in that I"m pretty much not playing. At least in MGS it made a little sense and sometimes the "caution" thing would always be up in some parts of the game,

Didn't look all that stealthy to me. More like grapple up, jump down and kill someone, grapple back up, jump down and kill someone ad nauseum. Hard to say though with only a few minutes of gameplay.

Actually it looks pretty sweet, first time I've been remotely interested in this game. I'll add this to the list of cool looking 3rd person games to look into this year... Resident Evil 5, Uncharted 2, God of War 3, Ghostbusters, Batman, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Prototype, Infamous... Jeez it doesn't end...

I'm not such a huge super hero nut, but this could be really good. I think they've captured Batman's capabilities really well and it gives a good impression about height and the hiding on top of those gargoyles is totally "Batman-esque". I think of all the Batman games, this could actually be something good. Maybe not perfct, but good.
