Kojima Teases New Metal Gear Reveal at E3
by Chris Faylor, Mar 27, 2009 3:39pm PDTMetal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has teased that he could announce a new entry in the stealth-action series in June during the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo.
"Maybe we can do some announcement during E3," he said today during a question and answer session held at a San Francisco Apple Store, according to GameSpy.
"I can't really speak specifically right now," he added. Kojima is known to have four unannounced projects in the works, with the first releasing as soon as this year.
Kojima was there to promote the recent iPhone release of Metal Gear Solid Touch.
He briefly teased "the next MGS" during his presentation at this week's Game Developers Conference, but did not offer any concrete details beyond its existence.
Once again taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, E3 officially runs June 2-4, with publishers and developers undoubtedly making announcements all week.

Metal Gear Solid should remain dead and buried and the fact that **SPOILER** Snake didn't blow his damn brains out at the end of ***SPOILER END*** MGS4 pissed me off something rotten because I knew that they would make another.
Hideo Kojima will never be anything more than "The guy that does MGS" unless he breaks away from MGS and comes up with something original...Classic and different.
In the end MGS is just becoming another HALO... The first was the best and it goes slowly downhill from there (although in MGS case it went downhill after MGS3)

The 5 being minutes of actual gameplay.
My favourite part will be where they tell you to walk down a 20 foot hallway with a 12 minute convo. Then as soon as you step foot in the hallway, a new 15 minute convo. Then halfway through the hallway, you get another 7.5 minute convo. Then... wait for it.... a conversation at the end of the hallway.
