Shack PSA: Four Ubisoft Classics in $10 Bundle, Extended Far Cry 2 Sale

45
Wrapping up the week of one-day sales on Ubisoft-published titles, digital distribution platform Steam is now selling a $10 bundle of four classic Ubisoft PC games: Beyond Good and Evil, Far Cry, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, and IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946.

The sale, which runs all weekend, pretty much punches rival Good Old Games in the face. Just yesterday, GOG began selling Ubisoft PC games, debuting Beyond Good and Evil and IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 at $10 each, with Far Cry and other games due soon.

In addition, Steam's $15 sale on Far Cry 2 has been extended to run all weekend.

BG&E was good on the PC until I ran into a recurring crash part way through. Apparently others had the same crash. I tried loading saved games with no success.

i had the same problem since i bought it in the holiday sale. also, one section of the world would run horrendously slow, and my system should be able to handle this game no sweat.

I also had a crash somewhere (forgetting where now) and I had to put it on my backup computer, just to get through that part.

This entire thread scares me. I hate the thought of devoting myself to a game and not being able to finish it.

Yup, I had an item-stuck-in-a-vent bug, and was only able to continue by finding another savegame on the Internet. It also had serious frame rate issues on the water on my 7800 GTX when I played it. Great game, though.
