by Chris Faylor, Mar 25, 2009 3:34pm PDTNot only does our first proper look at Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 introduce us to resident protagonist Ryu, but we also get a glimpse of Ayane and Momiji. Sure, both have appeared in previous Ninja Gaiden games, but in Sigma 2? They're playable.
The enhanced PlayStation 3 port of last year's Xbox 360 action game also packs a new online mode that allows players to partake in specializes challenges. Expect to see Sigma 2 this fall, courtesy publisher Tecmo and its internal Team Ninja studio.

For anybody who watched the credits roll in NG2, you know that Itagaki, the original producer, was a sick son of a bitch who loved the violence. Maybe that opinion is not shared by the remaining Team Ninja staff.
