Wii Ships 50 Million Units, Declared Fastest Selling Console Ever

The announcement came just moments ago, as Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata kicked off his keynote speech at this year's Game Developers Conference.

But as for my personal opinion Nintendo has become a bad gaming anomaly let’s hope no one follows there new approach.
Looks like the PS3 and 360 will get there gimmick and but will be played with Hig Def graphics, Physx, and HD sound.

Truth be told I personally don’t really care anymore about Nintendo and I will no longer be waiting for the next Mario, Zelda, or Metriod. There are just so many better options on the 360, ps3 and PC now. I mean I just recently purchased Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty for $9.99 and it is by far the best platformer I have played, from the graphics, story, sound, gameplay, weapon upgrades, gadgets and seamless world, it blows away Mario ten fold. And the same can be said for the rest of their old franchises, to me Nintendo RIP, I will never forget the SNES days that is the Nintendo I will remember.
