Space Invaders XBLA Screenshots Get Extreme

Taito's celebration of Space Invaders' 30th Anniversary continues in these new screenshots from the upcoming Xbox Live Arcade download Space Invaders Extreme.

Developed by the folks at Backbone Entertainment, the Xbox 360 version of the game--Nintendo DS and PSP editions arrived last summer--adds four-player competitive and cooperative multiplayer to the mash-up of classic stylings and modern gameplay.

  I loved the psp version but i can't see myself spending any serious amount of points on this one. If they keep it to something like 600/800 i'd consider it.
