Wallace & Gromit's First Episode Bumbles Onto PC

Fright of the Bumblebees, the first episode of Telltale Games' new episodic adventure game Wallace and Gromit's Grand Adventures, has been released.

Based upon the popular stop-motion comedy characters, Fright of the Bumblebees promises garden gnomes, wacky schemes, romance and giant bees. The next three episodes will be released monthly to subscribers.

Telltale offers Wallace and Gromit's Grand Adventures with a 15% discount for launch week and, to sweeten the deal further, a 50% discount on everything else in your order. A demo is available on FileShack if you fancy some jollies with England's favourite clay man and dog before deciding whether to part with your wonga.

An Xbox Live Arcade release is expected this spring.

Started playing this last night on Steam release (where the whole thing, all 4 episodes - 3 to follow this - is only $26).

Runs great, no bugs. Like the Sam and Max games it's neither too hard nor ridiculously easy. And it's fun. And it definitely conjures the proper Wallace and Gromit atmosphere.

Did you ever play that Strongbad game? Was that any good?

I loved the first two episodes but by the 5th, I was rather tired of the concept.

That's how I felt about Sam and Max, but there was one episode in there (Chariots of the Dogs?) that was really really good.
