Pearl Jam's 'Ten' Album Hits Rock Band Next Week, Best Buy Offering Even More Pearl Jam DLC
by Chris Faylor, Mar 20, 2009 8:04am PDTWay back in December, Harmonix revealed that the entirety of Pearl Jam's "Ten" would be released in Rock Band form on March 24. Well, March 24 is next Tuesday.
The 11 remaining tracks of "Ten"--the missing song, "Alive," is already on the Rock Band 2 disc--will sell in a 1440 MS Point ($18) bundle and individually for 160 MS Points ($2).
The content hits Xbox 360 on March 24, and PlayStation 3 on March 26.
And if that's not enough Pearl Jam for you, Best Buy is offering PS3 and Xbox 360 owners three other downloadable tracks--"Brother," "Alive (Live)" and "State of Love & Trust (Live)"--in exchange for a purchase of the physical re-release of Ten.
But if you don't want to drop that kind of dough for three extra Rock Band songs, don't worry. Best Buy did this sort of thing with Disturbed, and those tracks ended up being released as regular old Rock Band track downloads later on.
As for "Ten," the downloadable Rock Band release of the album packs:
- Once
- Even Flow
- Why Go
- Black
- Jeremy
- Oceans
- Porch
- Garden
- Deep
- Release
- Master/Slave
Thanks to Shacknews' resident Rock Band expert Masem for the Best Buy tip.

You will never get the downloadable tracks. I bought the Disturbed deal from Best Buy that was supposed to include the downloadable tracks. After going back and forth from customer service forever, I still never got the track code.
