BioShock 2 Loses 'Sea of Dreams' Subtitle

18
First, it was known as BioShock 2. Then, it was BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams. Now, the sequel to the acclaimed first-person shooter is back to plain old BioShock 2.

"You won't be seeing 'Sea of Dreams' moving forward, just 'BioShock 2,'" 2K community manager Elizabeth Tobey informed Primotech.

In development at 2K Marin and due out sometime between August and October 31, BioShock 2 expands upon the original by putting players in the role of "the first ever" Big Daddy, or Mr. B, as the numerous Little Sisters refer to the hulking guardians.

The game is eventually "destined" for release on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but publisher 2K has not specified which versions are due by the end of the year.

that's lame. I don't want to play a game without a subtitle. actually I'm really hoping devs start moving up to 2 subtitles, to really push things to the edge.
