World of Warcraft Mountain Dew Represents Synergy

16
Blizzard today announced that it will soon be capitalizing on the lucrative gamer energy drink market by releasing Warcraft-themed flavors of Mountain Dew Game Fuel.

The two flavors, Alliance Blue (real wild fruit flavor!) and Horde Red (wacky citrus cherry flavor!), will debut this summer at your local 7-Eleven--perhaps alongside copies of the actual game.

Blizzard assures us that further details are coming soon. In the meantime, check out these extreme renderings of the drink.

I bet they'll put Achievements ingame for typing some kind of code printed on the cans/bottles.

This stuff's getting commercial. I'm looking forward to Ground Zergling 10% and Diablo Horns.

Getting? You should see the WoW marketing overseas.

Yeah that was a deliberate understatement. I'm not complaining though, if the money goes toward (hopefully) good quality future games such as SC2 and D3.

Their last game before WoW was The Frozen Throne for WC3 though, and that's 6 years and many former employees ago. WoW changed everything. Still no reason to regard more money to Blizz as anything but good for the upcoming games though, I guess.
