Starsiege: Tribes Ported to Browsers on InstantAction

23
A web-based version of Dynamix's classic team-based multiplayer shooter Starsiege: Tribes is soon coming to browser gaming portal InstantAction.

The InstantAction port of Tribes will feature enhanced graphics and modding options, according to Kotaku. InstantAction was created by GarageGames, a company founded by several former Dynamix employees. The team released a web-based spiritual sequel to Tribes, Fallen Empire: Legions, last year.

We'll have more on the Tribes browser port following next week's GDC, where a playable version of the game will be on display.

please allow people playing in browser to connect to current Tribes 1 servers to...

don't make this a separate type thing, keep the community that still plays Tribes 1 intact

I can't see that working at all, I'm sure they plan to add features, etc that the old Tribes doesn't have.
