Castle Crashers Developer Reveals New Game

Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers developer The Behemoth has issued the first trailer for its as-yet-untitled third project, a side-scrolling platformer due out in 2010.

"A super early version of our next game," wrote the studio. "No title has been determined at this time, or price point, or which console it will be on."

Castle Crashers was so broken (disconnect bug) that I'm not sure I'll buy another one of their games. Yes, it was fun (when it worked) and was gorgeous...but that bug just killed the game for me.

This sort of looks like a mix between Jump! Ultimate Stars and Little Big Planet but with the Dan Paladin style. While that sounds like a pretty cool idea, this doesn't really tickle my fancy.

I'd much rather they work on keeping Castle Crashers alive with an expansion, which they may be doing anyway.

awww... I was hoping for something more similar to CC, but I guess a coop platformer could be quite entertaining, too (even if probably not as fun as a full night of 4 player beat em up coop with an RPG twist)

Hell yes! This looks awesome, love the coop platforming elements we saw there where one player boosts the other, and then that player helps him up. We had elements like that in a platforming game we made in college and I've always wanted to play a game that had those (except one that I don't have to make myself).

I've loved every game by these guys so far so definitely looking forward to this.
