You'd have thought they had learned from the 1st one to not make another.
There must have been some Gundam-hungry fans asking for a sequel, I guess.

I tried the first for shits and giggles and didn't see much to it. But then again this is from a company that is up to Dynasty Warriors 7 is it now?

You underestimate how... low-brow some people are. I saw an entire forum thread dedicated to how awesome the first one was and how they were all looking forward to the sequel. i think it was on destructoid...

If its fun, its fun. I've also noticed that games can be pretty bad and still be fun with co-op.

maybe they're seeing something you aren't? games don't necessarily need a lot of depth to be fun and it can depend on the context you're playing a game in. for example, there's a game on PS3 called Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm. It's basically a simple vs fighting game with very flashy animations and super moves. it isn't that fun to play alone but it's great for when people are over because there's a very low barrier to pulling moves off

I bought the first one. Myself and the gf spent an entire weekend smashing through stuff, it was a blast. It's allot more fun co-op than it is to play alone, that's where it's strengths are.
