Wolfenstein Multiplayer Screenshots Leaked?

46
A large batch of environment screenshots from Raven's upcoming shooter Wolfenstein have apparently leaked onto the internet today.

An industry source directed Shacknews to this Photobucket gallery, which supposedly contains a number of screenshots sourced from Wolfenstein's multiplayer maps. The images, labeled "property of id Software," depict scenes consistent with the game's dark World War II setting and id Tech 4 engine. When contacted for information on the images, an Activision rep responded: "The screens in question were not distributed by Activision or approved by Activision, and thus Activision cannot confirm their authenticity."

Shacknews has also contacted project overseer id Software.

Wolfenstein, the next chapter of the World War II-era Wolfenstein franchise, is scheduled to hit stores this summer on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

I think they're just using the Wolf logo for the multiplayer maps. Swastikas were in the extended trailer.
