King of Fighters 12 Screenshots Look Pretty

At long last, some direct-feed screenshots from The King of Fighters XII have hit via FileFront. Just look at those gorgeous hand-drawn sprites and backgrounds.

According to Joystiq, these screenshots were taken from the upcoming console versions, and demonstrate the added antialiasing option for character sprites.

Developed by SNK and published by Ignition, the latest entry in the long, long, long-running 2D fighting series hits PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in July.

I'd love to see them do this for Samurai Shodown...I realize they're going 3d with that (Sen) but I'm really hoping after Sen we get a high quality beautiful 2D Samurai Shodown game done like this.

You cant compare this to SF4. this is more comparable to SF2 HD remix
This is how they should of done SF2 HD remix. You do need to see this running as it looks crisp and very slick
