by Chris Faylor, Mar 12, 2009 8:45am PDTAs expected, Capcom today officially announced Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles. The sequel to Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, the Wii light-gun shooter hits this winter, revisiting the events of Resident Evil 2 and other games.
Capcom also revealed that Wii ports of the more traditional Resident Evil and Resident Evil Zero entries are coming to North America under the Resident Evil "Classics" line. Both releases are based on the GameCube versions, with added motion controls.
Both of the survival horror ports are slated to arrive later this year, at $29.99 a piece.
