Fable 3 Revealed by British Talk Show Host?
by Chris Faylor, Mar 11, 2009 8:25am PDTLionhead Studios is apparently (and unsurprisingly) working on another entry in its open-world action-RPG series, according to British media personality Jonathan Ross.
"Got asked to do voice in Fable 3 tonight," reads a Twitter from Ross, who attended the BAFTA video game awards earlier in the evening. Later on, he added that British comedian and former game journalist Charlie Brooker would lend his voice to Fable 3.
Once the morning came around, however, Ross realized he said something he shouldn't have. Subsequent Twitters show the broadcaster planning to apologize to Lionhead Studios founder Peter Molyneux. When asked if the apology was due to the Fable 3 mention, Ross wrote "yes. No. there is no Fable 3. I don't know. help me."
The last entry in the series, Fable 2, hit Xbox 360 in late 2008 to rave reviews. One piece of game-expanding downloadable content has been released since then. Of course, it's always possible that Ross may have confused an upcoming DLC pack with Fable 3.
