Castle Crashers Dev Reveals First Teaser Image of New Game

12
The Behemoth, developer of the XBLA hit Castle Crashers, today released the first image related to its upcoming third game.

The art (pictured left) was posted on Behemoth's official developer blog, where the company also noted that a trailer for the game will debut on March 18.

Castle Crashers, a 2D multiplayer beat-em-up, was released last August to critical acclaim. However, bugs plagued the initial release, and the game went without a patch until Christmas Eve.

No details of Behemoth's untitled third game are known, though it does seem to continue the cartoony art style established in the team's first title, Alien Hominid.

it's too bad Multiplayer didn't work well at launch because it would've been non-stop awesome instead of people being done with the game by the time multiplayer came around.

We lost our shit playing MP locally too, until we learned the workaround that we had to do 100% of the time. (Live was still involved though, the person who owned the game recovered their gamertag on my console)

Agree. I doubt I'll be buying this game due to the terrible support from the last (sure it COULD of been worse, as in they don't do it at all, but they might as well not done it at all I know I won't be playing the game again so whats the point of the patch to me?)

This is something MS should have caught during certification I think.

I'll probably still check out their new game. I never had any live problems however I did lose my game playing locally at a friends house. That really sucked. I would assume they learned from this and hopefully there won't be a major problem in the new game.
