Steam Absorbs The Maw
by Nick Breckon, Mar 09, 2009 12:51pm PDTThe PC version of Twisted Pixel's downloadable action-adventure title The Maw hit Steam, Direct2Drive and Greenhouse today, priced at $9.99.
The game puts players in the role of an alien with a Maw cohort. The purple Maw, simultaneously controlled by the player, absorbs the traits of the enemies it eats.
Additional levels will eventually be available as downloadable content, according to Steam. The PC version was developed and ported by Hotehad Games.
A single DLC level has already been released for the Xbox Live version of the title. The second of three planned levels, arriving this Wednesday, will cost 160 MS Points ($2).
