MadWorld Screenshots Meet the Dominatrix

Platinum Games' Wii beat 'em up MadWorld ships out to North American stores Tuesday, the proximity of which has caused publisher Sega to issue new screenshots.

Chris Faylor was previously a games journalist creating content at Shacknews.

    I'm having a real hard time imagining this being any good. The art style seems like it'll be mess to figure out WTF is going on... that coupled with the fact that Wii looks like shit on my HDTV. No thanks.

      I take it you have a cheap HDTV... DVDs probably also look poorly on it, or at least passable. Good HD sets, especially the more recent ones handle SD content nicely. It's the older "fixed-pixel" HD sets, primarily the cheap ones that do a poor job interpolating lower-rez content.

      Well, there's always the distance filter, as in sit as far enough away from your TV as needed, so that the distance masks the glaring imperfections.

      Anyways, I saw a commercial for this game and it looked great. I can't say that for any of the content online, and I've been a bit worried that this game will give me a headache. I'm buying it regardless though, because these guys made Okami.
