inFamous Coming in June, Demo Due Soon

Sucker Punch's super-powered PlayStation 3 action game inFamous will arrive worldwide in June, producer Greg Phillips revealed on the PlayStation.Blog.

Phillips added that a downloadable demo of the title will be "available shortly."

The game puts players in the role of bicycle messenger Cole McGrath as he unexpectedly receives electrical superpowers and must save his city from chaos. Of course, saving is a subjective thing, so players can act as a hero or a maniacal villain.

Also due out this June is Radical's Entertainment's Prototype (PC, PS3, 360), which is also an open-world action adventure that features a super-powered protagonist.

I can see one of these titles doing better and short changing the others potential sales because of the close timeframe.

This seems....too soon.

Hope Sucker Punch's code monkeys have been working hard to improve their game beyond what we were shown in the last couple gameplay video, because if not.....meh.

Guess we'll see when the demo drops.

This seems like it should be cool but the lightning powers in the videos all look very boring, they could have at least added a bit more flare to his attacks. Who knows though, maybe it's a lot more fun to play than it is to watch.

I haven't seen any video that has shown anything other than the same lightning powers, could get boring fast without variety. Althought he amount of destruction was impressive.
