Warhammer Online 10-day Trial Program Begins

Pretty sure 10 days is as long as I want to play this game.

Tried it, going to buy it as soon as it drops to $19.99. If it doesn't, I'll give in and buy it at $29.99.

I liked the fact that it's main thing is PvP. You level, gain money and items by killing players or running around doing quests. It also seems like the endgame is going to be about besieging the enemy capital city.

Graphics are a tad weak in my opinion, textures seem to be washed out. Spells are not good looking.

I don't know if it's my sound card, but there are some really low res sound bites, like background yelling of NPC's and again, spells sound lame.

I'm a PvP type guy, and that's why I quit WoW back in 2005. As soon as I was introduced to "Molten Core" I knew what awaited me 4+ years down the road.


Only question I have is: Why didn't Mythic do a trial before? I could have been a potential customer long ago...

I'm tempted to give it another shot. I didn't hate the game and even enjoyed parts of it. Maybe in a week or so when the new classes are available for everyone.
