Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits to Feature 48 Songs, Partial Setlist Revealed

13
Activision's Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits will feature a total of 48 songs from the previous guitar-only titles, updating the tracks for full-band support.

The first eight songs, revealed in an IGN interview, provide an idea of what to expect on the full setlist. All tracks will be master tracks, as some were previously covers.

  • "I Love Rock N Roll" -- Joan Jett and The Blackhearts
  • "Nothin' But A Good Time" -- Poison
  • "Them Bones" -- Alice in Chains
  • "Killer Queen" -- Queen
  • "Killing in the Name" -- Rage Against The Machine
  • "I Wanna Rock" -- Twisted Sister
  • "Through the Fire and Flames" -- Dragonforce
  • "Barracuda" -- Heart

Greatest Hits arrives in June on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2 and Wii. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will cost $60, with the Wii and PS2 versions running $50 and $40 respectively.

But it isn't "stuff already released." If it was, I could go play the drums on the Dragonforce song. That hasn't been released.

All I want is Extreme - Play With Me. They should really give people the option to download these, I would have thought the profit margin of DLC compared to printing the discs and distribution would be alot more attractive. I guess they just want stuff on shelves to remind us Guitar Hero still exists.

All I want is Hanger 18, but this would be a good consolation prize.

Oh and by want, I mean as Rock Band DLC, not this cashtrap.
