omnova and NatioN are going to be flying in to town, I'll of course be there with VenusK, and hopefully some of the other area Shackers (nudge, nudge, virus) will show up too. Special prize* for anyone who actually bothers to come down from outside the South Bay area!
*Prize may not be special or, in fact, even exist, I just wanted to get your attention

Wyeth ruling may put spotlight on drug safety
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29515991/
TRENTON, N.J. - A Supreme Court ruling Wednesday that federal approval of a drug is no protection from lawsuits in state courts could make drugmakers more cautious about safety issues and may lead them to halt development of some medicines and even pull others off the market.
...
“This is like blood in the water for plaintiff lawyer sharks,” and will encourage more lawsuits, Gordon added.
...
The case, involving Vermont musician Diana Levine, who lost her arm after a botched injection of Wyeth’s former nausea medication Phenergan, was closely watched by drugmakers, which face thousands of lawsuits over serious side effects.
...
He said Wyeth believed it could not change the FDA-approved warning in the package insert, which disclosed the risk of gangrene if a Phenergan injection accidentally hit an artery but left it up to the doctor whether to give it to a patient that way or through a slow intravenous drip or shot in a muscle.
.....
Last year, the Supreme Court agreed with the pre-emption policy in a case involving medical devices, ruling a patient injured by a catheter from Medtronic could not sue under state laws. That case turned on a provision of federal law prohibiting states from imposing their own requirements on the devices. There’s no similar provision for drugs.
So it looks like the medical device people are safe but man there is going to be some hurt on the drug side of the medical industry.

I really don't get MS these days. This is just another example where they seem to really not have any good unified plan. It really seems like their command structure is total crap these days. They waffle on so many features. They offer so many products with so many overlapping features. They demand one type of action with one product (say entering in CALs) and then ignore it in another (SBS2008).
I think they are in desperate need of a top down unfucking like they had before XP SP2.

Had problems in the final portions of Mission 7, but from the midpoint of Mission 8 on it seems to love to randomly hang for no reason. It's not as unstable as Drakan: Order of the Flame, but god damn does it get annoying.

One of my hobbies is buying DVDs. I have always wanted a big collection as a kid and I am started to get there.
Over the weekend I accidentally dumped my 400 DVD collection on the floor. (big box broke) Well the good thing was as I organized them and put them in a new place, I was able to catalog them all with Delicious Library and the Bar Code scanner on my iSight.
It also has a nice feature to export the collection to show people. Here are the fruits of my labor. http://tofslie.com/deliciouslibrary/iphone
About 350 are listed here, but there are probably 400 movies (Lots of Box sets and double features etc)
So I ask you kind sirs, what movies do I need to add to this. I know there are tons out there still, and tons I have seen that I do not have in my collection. (I love movies) But your help with some big ones I am missing or ones you recommend would be great.

So I'm so close to getting my 3rd set of Terminator armor, but this levels boss is a damned Avatar. I've tried 3 times now and the closest I got was half of his health...does anyone have any tips to kill this bastard? Orbital bombardment works pretty well to dent him, but everything else barely hurts him :(

Mille - Crysteena
http://deathelectro.com/wp-content/audio/Mille%20-%20Crysteena.mp3
It's C64-style Electro that really reminds me of old-school game soundtracks and MOD/XMs, but with a more modern touch. I've been blasting it for 2 days straight. The first time I heard it, I immediately added it to the VSMOTD archive. It's really awesome. Check it out!
Found it on this excellent Electro blog: http://deathelectro.com/ (You can stream the song there)
Mille's myspace with a few more songs as well: http://www.myspace.com/technomille
He even commented on my music! :D : http://www.myspace.com/monstunes
What others said:
"This is a very good song!" - TroZ
"great stuff" - nomaad
"Agreed, very nice song. I'm gonna store that one for the summertime!!!" - aux7
"This is worthy for a Timberland rip!" - DingoStoleMyBaby

Even the Cool Mint Chocolate, while not all that great, was more than edible.
Chocolate Chip is solid, and even the Carrot Cake one was darn tasty.

Have there been any videos posted of these things in action? Do they handle like normal vehicles in the game, or are they (even more) arcadey?
