No Plans to Release New Wii Pad in US or Europe, Says Nintendo
GameStop and CVG were both told that there are no current plans to bring the controller to North America or Europe, respectively.
The new pad, due out in Japan this summer, adds lengthened handles and two more shoulder buttons, and revises the wire placement of the original Classic Controller. However, it will still need to be plugged into a Wii Remote for actual use.

replyI don't really see it as necessary anyway. The current Classic Controller works fine.

Too many controller SKUs confuse us stupid westerners!

They can just axe the older SKU like how MS axed Massive Controller.
