HAWX Demo Arriving on PC Monday
by Nick Breckon, Feb 27, 2009 2:44pm PSTComputer video game fans will have their shot at Tom Clancy's HAWX next week. Ubisoft has confirmed that a PC HAWX demo is set for release at Monday, March 2, at noon EST.
The full game, developed by Ubisoft Romania, is hitting the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 6. The PC version will arrive in stores on March 13.

That always kind of bothered me with "futuristic" games/ movies -- like (I'll just pick one out of a hat here) Starship Troopers. Why would they "invade" the planet to destroy the bugs when they could simply NUKE the fucking thing from space and be done with it?
Or how about Mass Effect: why would they deposit you on a planet in a super-advanced wheeled vehicle? I mean, they just traveled thousands of light-years across space/time, yet they've never heard of a drone? It's the future, they could at least have something small that can fly them around on a planet.

I know Hawx is not for me, Birds of Prey however seems to take itself a bit more serious. Of course I could just go back to IL2, but damn this looks sweet. :D
