Space Invaders Hits iPhone with Classic Cabinet UI

Publisher Square Enix today announced that Taito's Space Invaders has arrived on the iPhone as a $5 title.

Square also notes that an iPhone version of Cooking Mama has also been released, but since nobody here really cares about that game, here are some cool shots of the Space Invaders port. Check out that retro cabinet design!

Would love to play this, but games with virtual on screen controls just don't work very well. Missile Command is ok because it takes advantage of the screen touching. I bought Rogue Touch today and it seems to control pretty well for the iPhone. Basically we need games that take advantage of the iPhones unique interface and not to be porting every old game and requiring virtual controls.
