Shack PSA: Lost Planet $5 on Steam, Dawn of War 2 $35 on GoGamer
by Nick Breckon, Feb 27, 2009 12:03pm PSTAnother Friday, another weekend of enticing game sales.
Perhaps most importantly, GoGamer's 48 Hour Madness sale includes a $35 copy of Dawn of War 2. That's a great price on a game you probably don't want to miss.
Meanwhile, Steam is selling Capcom's icy shooter Lost Planet: Extreme Condition for a mere $5 this weekend. Which begs the question: who wins in a fight, Noby Noby Boy or Lost Planet?

BUY DAWN OF WAR 2
35 bux is a great price. I spent 50 and I'm glad I didn't wait, even though this is only a week later.

The single player is nothing short of brilliant. Multi is kind of jarring though. I wasn't in the beta, so the multiplayer feels quite different. It's a completely different game from the single, and very different from the first game. Don't get me wrong, it's like getting two completely different games for the price of one, but it makes learning the multiplayer kinda tricky.
The game's only weakness is the small number of single player maps that they try to make seem like a lot by stretching them over 3 planets. Still, it's a blast to play, and at $35 well worth the price. Get it if you've been thinking about it, you won't regret it.
