Rock Band DLC: Stevie Ray Vaughan's Texas Flood

Harmonix has just sent out its Rock Band Community Zine, revealing that next week will see Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble's Texas Flood album released as downloadable content for the multi-instrument music game franchise.

Owners of Rock Band or Rock Band 2 for Xbox 360 should be able to buy the songs come Tuesday, March 3, while PlayStation 3 gamers will have to wait until Thursday.

Sold in a 1280 Microsoft Point ($16) bundle, the album packs the following tracks:

Love Struck Baby
Pride And Joy
Texas Flood
Tell Me
Testify
Rude Mood
Mary Had A Little Lamb
Dirty Pool
I'm Cryin'
Lenny

Alongside the bundle, each track will be sold separately for 160 Microsoft Points ($2), assuming Harmonix stays true to the pricing used for the past year and some months.

Finally some real music. I am sick of this death metal, nu metal, hardcore metal, shit 14 year old music metal that they have been releasing. Finally a skilled guitarist instead of thrashers.

The concept of playing plastic instruments is just stupid altogether, but mixing it with a rhythm based game that plays the song is kinda cool. What really kills this for me is that I have to go out and buy all of the music that I have already purchased from these artists, why can't it just play based off of the music that you have? Oh, because then they couldn't rip you morons off like crazy. Congratulations I hope you're happy with what you are doing, making more and more shitty ass games based off of songs that we already have bought.
